WHO are we ?

We are Ingrid and Kevin Howard, the owners of Vintage Wine Cellar. Kevin is a native Charlottean, and Ingrid is a New Yorker. While living in Manhattan for 8 years, we grew passionate for everything related to wine - understanding the wine making process, as well as the pure enjoyment of sharing wine with friends. Through our journeys to different wine shops, wine bars and tasting rooms in the U.S. and abroad, we conceptualized the ultimate wine bar and retail wine store.ﾠWe decided to move to Charlotte and realize our vision in the South.ﾠ

WHAT are we?

A Retail Store. Vintage Wine Cellar carries wines from throughout the world across a variety of price points.ﾠYou'll find a showcase of superior value wines as soon as you walk in our store, which caters to the busy customer who wants to grab something interesting for dinner.ﾠWe also feature Staff picks and a cooler with white wines and beers to go.ﾠYou can be assured that all of our managers have tasted every wine on our shelves.ﾠAs you make your way through the wood racks, you'll find a climate-controlled room containing our cellar selections.ﾠAll of these top tier wines are maintained at the perfect temperature and humidity.ﾠWithin the cellar we have lockers for rent, where you can house your favorite bottles to enjoy in our wine bar with friends and family on a special occasion. ﾠ

A Wine Bar & Cafe. Our wine bar features 20 wines by the glass, and we offer seating at the bar, tables, lounge area, and patio.ﾠOur chef, Jay Mangiaracina, creates an eclectic, tapas-inspired menu with the freshest, highest quality ingredients in our full-service kitchen. ﾠ
